RECREATING OUR TOP 5 BEAUTY LOOKS FROM THE BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS 2021

RECREATING OUR TOP 5 BEAUTY LOOKS FROM THE BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS 2021

Last weekend some of our favorite stars showed up serving looks at the Billboard Music Awards 2021. After the year we have had, with numerous virtual events it was not surprising that everyone came with their A game.

I decided to recreate some of my favorite beauty looks featuring our products, because some of us are also getting ready to serve looks as most places are beginning to open up

So let's have some fun shall we?

For our first look we have Kehlani, serving burgundy and nude. This is a great look for anyone who likes to play it safe. You go for a glam eye and then tone it down with your favorite lipstick.

To recreate this look, I picked out three shades from our palette, Style, Meets Substance. Sao Paulo will serve as the base color, while Mumbai will be used at the center of the lids, for a pop effect and Fez at the top of the lid to blend it all out as the transition shade, and at the end of your lid a the smokey effect. To finish this look up, use Fez on your waterline to line your eyes.

For lips, our bullet lipstick in shade Focused from the Power Woman Essential Bullet Collection will give you the perfect nude brown.

For the second look we have Priyanka Chopra, in a look very similar to Kehlani's but she opted for softer eyes and a dark brown nude lip. I really love how effortless this look is, let's get into it.

To recreate this look, I picked out Fez and Mumbai because it looks like she has a glittery pink shade all over lids which in this case would be Mumbai and a burgundy shade at the outer crease area of her eyes and also on her waterline which would be Fez for us.

For lips we have Ritzy from our liquid matte collection which is a highly pigmented nude shade, that glides on smoothly, and has a velvety finish. To add some dimension and darker finish, we top it off with our Bossy Gloss in Café, which is a rich brown gloss with shimmer.

For the third look, we go into Gabrielle Union's super natural look. This is an extremely easy look to recreate as the goal is to look 'au naturale'.

To recreate this, you will need just a swipe of color on your lid. I went for Sao Paulo because its a matte shade without glitter, you can use your bronzer or contour shade too. Just sweep it lightly with a brush across your lids and that's it.

Since we are going for a natural look,I suggest a brown lip liner and a good old brown gloss. For this, our brown lip liner in Lush and holy grail brown gloss Café will do the job nicely.

Kelsea decided to serve us a pop of color on eyes and I am here for this. When i saw this look, I screamed "Dakarrrr". For context, Dakar is a stunning blue shade from our Style, Meet Substance palette that stands out because of how pretty it is. So when i saw this look,I was excited that I get to share the star shade of the palette with everyone in this post.

To recreate this look, you will need to use Dakar all over your lid as a base color as it a matte shade, and then go over with with Capri for some glitter/shine. To tone down this beautiful dramatic eye look, Ritzy liquid lipstick and Lush liner will create the perfect nude for you.

Finally a red lip look! Although, she came with her signature shades so we cant get into her eye look. Over here we love us some red lipstick, which you may have noticed from all our collection drop. We always have shade of red or two in every collection, so you can easily find your signature red that does with your skin shade and undertone.

For this look, Faith from our Power Woman Essentials Liquid Collection matches the exact shade of red she has on. Faith is a bold, bright and stunning red shade. If you prefer a regular lipstick to liquid lipstick then Unstoppable is the red for you to achieve this look.

If you recreate any of these looks, kindly share with us on any of social media platforms. If you will like to get any of these products the links are provided below.

Go forth and glow,

Noka
