Be UNSTOPPABLE and VOTE

Hey Boss,

It's your girl, Aisha, founder and CEO of Bossy Cosmetics and I am PUMPED because tomorrow is the END of the general election voting period in the United States.  Yes, you read that correctly, I am excited because it's the END.  

As I have said previously, I want to avoid taking political positions as a brand so Bossy Cosmetics is not officially endorsing a candidate but if you scoot on over to my personal IG page, you will see where I personally lean. 

Now, why do I do this?  Because I truly believe that this business represents ALL women from ALL over the world on ALL sides of the political spectrum.  When we say that we are empowering women to look, feel and do good in the world, it's not just women on the left, right, or the moderates somewhere in the middle.  We want ALL women to exercise their rights and to live their lives to the absolute fullest so that our society can reach it's highest potential for ALL of humanity.

Ultimately, as a woman-owned brand that exists and thrives on the back of the sacrifices of women that came and fought before, we don't think it's conscionable to be silent.  We have posted on social media and sent text messages to all of our US based customers to remind them to vote in this election.  We are not only voting for a president, but we are putting vital members of congress in place as well as ensuring that the right decisions are made in our local communities.  We simply have to be engaged in the political process and see it as not only our right but our duty!

As a first-generation American citizen born to Nigerian parents, I credit the single most critical key success factor in my life as having been born in this country.  I don't take my citizenship nor the stewardship of my vote for granted and, if you are eligible, I hope you don't either.
