We called our first of many eye shadow palettes "Style, Meet Substance" because we believe it's possible and necessary for women to exude BOTH at the same time. You can be a woman of substance and still find delight in cosmetics, style, and beauty. Your ambitious pursuits do not subtract from your inner desire to look, feel, and do GOOD in the world!
If you're looking for lipstick that stays where you put it, Bravery won't let you down. A classic, bright rose pink, this is my go-to fave. Add gloss for a Zoom call, or leave natural for lip protection and a boost of gorgeous color.
This is the first lip gloss I’ve used in ten years at least, I am what you can call a ‘traditional lipstick devotee.’ What attracted me to Bossy was its strong ethos behind putting the women wearing the lipstick ‘first.’ The package is vibrant and fun with a warming message to its new owner. Firstly, it has an almost intentionally faint and yummy smell, one wave of the applicator bestows a decadent and demure look, which I adore. The full coverage effect is ladylike and polished. It does what I says on the tin, matte look and long lasting. I wore this for 6hours straight without the need for re-application. The super pigmented formula appears thin and smooth which allows the red formula to swipe on evenly and dry quick and fast. Ideal for evening or a night in the tiles.
Great coverage, lasts all day (barely comes off from eating) with a smooth and comfortable wear. The color is bold and beautiful and gives me the confidence I need to tackle meetings and other challenges. Love it!
"My makeup routine, which was once a full face every day, has been parred back to bare skin and a bright lipstick when I need a mood boost. Lately, I’ve been loving the new liquid formula from Bossy Cosmetics, which is super pigmented and non-drying. The shade Bravery, a punchy bright purple, has been my go-to for park dates with my friends."
"And if the word "professional" has you thinking these shades are muted or subtle, the brand is here to remind you professional doesn't necessarily mean boring."
A self-proclaimed lipstick junkie, Aishetu (Aisha) Dozie was an investment banker with a "serious" job when she ventured into the world of beauty. Equipped with a mission to empower women to look, feel, and do good while using cruelty-free products, she's also fueling her passion to give back through her brand.
A legit last -all-day lipstick. Leave it to Harvard Business grad and Stanford Fellow, Aishetu Fatima Dozie, to create a calculated lipstick formulation that is applied initially as a liquid, then turns matte but still manages to stay on creamy—all day. Just launched from this vegan, cruelty-free liquid lipstick line is also the Power Woman Essentials colors named for the five essential attributes that embody powerful women: wisdom, faith, courage, bravery, and of course, hustle.
Besides the fact that I'm in love with the orangey-red hue, which is perfect for off-duty activities (i.e. a boozy brunch or a day party), the charitable mission of this brand is what really drew me in. Bossy Cosmetics is committed to uplifting young girls and women worldwide. The proceeds of every purchase are donated to a charitable organization for women. A lipstick that gives back is the type of beauty product I can get behind.
Self-described "lipstick junkie" Aishetu Fatima Dozie founded Bossy Cosmetics to help empower women to go out into the world and be their best selves. When formulating her brand's color cosmetics, the former investment banker drew on her own experiences in the boardroom and the power she felt when wearing a bold lip color. Bossy's Bossy Lip Gloss comes in a range of colors from nude to classic red. The ethically-made formula contains plant-based ingredients that stimulate collagen production and protect against UV light damage.
